My name is Nicholas Wilson, and I am an Associate Professor of Sociology at Stony Brook University, where I also hold affiliated appointments in the departments of History and Asian & Asian-American Studies and am an affiliate of the Institute for Advanced Computational Science.
My research focuses on the English East India Trading Company and colonialism, the methodology of interdisciplinary research, transformations in the historical category of corruption, and the sociology of knowledge and morality.
