Although I consider sociology a personal as well as professional passion, I have several hobbies. I enjoy physical fitness, casual photography, science fiction, and mucking around with old computer hardware. For example, this website is running from a ten-year-old Dell desktop that I repurposed into a LAMP now running in my closet.  (In the interests of reliability while travelling, I also mirror the site on A2Hosting.)

I wish I could explore my passion for music more fully. I played classical guitar for many years, and in college became interested in sample-based production. Although adulthood's demands preclude devoting as much time to this hobby as I'd like, I sill enjoy composing.

Here are a few songs I have composed. All feature a combination of sampling, turntable work, and me playing processed electric guitar and keyboards. Download and enjoy.
